Bullish small businesses look to hire in 2010


That all important aspect of the Canadian economy small business is starting to look towards the first half of 2010 with some optimism and many are even saying according to a new report that they will be hiring. More than half of the small businesses that took part in the survey by HSBC said that they at least plan to maintain current staff levels while another 29% said that they planned to increase the levels of people they would have working for them. Small business in Canada represents 98% of the country's economy and is considered the foundation that the economy rests on. To help the process along from the recession, there are are many different Canadian government grants that are available for these small businesses. Canadian businesses plan to invest more in their operations as well with over 50% saying that they plan to put some money back into their firms.
